Health and prosperity
War and debt
I don't know what to think anymore.

Republican, Democrat
I barely started voting, but
I don't know what to think anymore.

AIDS keeps killing and
Prices keep soaring
I don't know what to think anymore.

Our fathers are sick
But yours can't be fixed
I don't know what to think anymore.

I've been called naive
I've been called insightful
I don't know what to think anymore.

As a funeral is had
Chopin keeps crying
I don't know what to think anymore.

I keep getting educated
But I don't feel any wiser
I don't know what to think anymore.

Guns and Martial Arts
And I still don't feel safe
I don't know what to think anymore.

And this world keeps on turning
Oh Lord, please send me some faith
I just don't know what to think anymore.
